Matching a Figure to Unit Cubes Worksheet Download

This worksheet gives a number of unit cubes and four figures, and asks which figure is built with exactly that many. It is the recognition half of the standard, where the count comes first and the picture has to be matched to it. The three wrong figures are within one or two cubes of the answer, so none can be ruled out by size alone and all four have to be counted, and every figure is drawn with the same size cube for the same reason. No figure hides a cube behind its neighbours, and each obeys gravity, so all four are structures a child could really build.
