Finding Angles in Circles
Each worksheet has 15 problems finding the angle of the shaded portion of a circle.
Student Objectives
- Practice finding the angle of a shaded section by figuring out what fraction of the circle it covers
- Use the fact that a full circle is 360° to calculate the degrees for equal-sized slices
- Work with circles divided into different numbers of equal parts (halves, fourths, sixths, eighths, etc.)
