About this worksheet
Each worksheet has 15 problems finding the perimeter of a rectangle.
This worksheet gives children practice finding the perimeter of a rectangle when the side lengths are written on the figure. Each of the 15 problems shows a rectangle labeled on two sides, so learners must first recall that opposite sides of a rectangle are equal before adding all four lengths together. Keeping area out of it lets younger students concentrate on what perimeter means - the distance around the outside of a shape - without having to choose between two formulas at the same time.
