About this worksheet
Each worksheet has 6 rules to turn into ordered pairs and graph on a coordinate plane.
This worksheet gives a rule, has the student complete a table of ordered pairs with it, and then graph those pairs on a coordinate plane. The existing graphing pattern sheet uses two separate rules, one for the x row and one for the y row, so the two coordinates march along independently and nothing connects them - a student can fill both rows without ever thinking of y as depending on x. Here one rule takes x to y. The grid runs to twelve rather than ten, because at ten the only rules that fit four points are adding and doubling. Sheets can be customized, turned into flash cards, or assigned for online learning.
