Each worksheet has 5 problems finding the area of a parallelogram from its base and height.
No worksheet on this site found the area of a parallelogram before this one. There are sheets for rectangles, triangles, trapezoids, circles and squares, but not one, at any grade, that multiplies a base by a height. Every figure here carries three measurements and only two of them are the ones to use: the slant side is labelled on purpose, because multiplying by it instead of by the height is the mistake this topic exists to catch, and a figure carrying only a base and a height cannot catch anything. The wrong answers are the named errors - the slant used as a height, the triangle formula applied, and a perimeter found instead. Sheets can be customized, turned into flash cards, or assigned for online learning.
