Shading a Fraction of a Grid Worksheet Download
Every denominator divides 100, so each fraction is an exact number of hundredths - two fifths is forty squares, three quarters is seventy-five. Any arrangement of the right number of squares is accepted, because the question asks for an amount and not a shape. The count of squares is printed under each grid on the answer key so a teacher marking a shaded page does not have to work it out. Sheet 1093 is the same skill as multiple choice, where the amount can be checked against three other grids.
